19 April 1854 Charles Angrand is born in Criquetot-sur-Ouville, Normandy, France

1875 First visit to Paris

1882 Moves to Paris, where he begins teaching mathematics at Coll?ge Chaptal. Becomes friends with Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, Maximilien Luce, and Henri Edmond Cross

1884 Co-founds Société des Artistes Indépendants along with Seurat, Signac, Odilon Redon, and others

1884 and 1886 Participates in the Salon des Indépendants

1887 Meets Van Gogh

1891 Exhibits with Les XX

1896 Moves to Saint-Laurent-en-Caux, in Upper Normandy

1915 Moves to Rouen

1 April 1926 Dies in Rouen. Buried in Cimeti?re monumental de Rouen
