1888 Enrols at the Académie Julian and then at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts

1890 Joins the Nabis. He publishes his article in Art et Critique
in which he stated the artistic credo of the group.

1895 Trip to Italy

1897 Goes to Italy 

1899-1903 Decorates the Church of Sainte-Croix at Vésinet

1908 Produces Eternal Spring for Thomas

1908-1909 He is commissioned by Ivan Morozov, Russian industrialist and famous patron of art, to make a series of decorative panels, The Story of Psyche

1913 Does ceiling paintings for the Théàtre des Champs-Elysées

1917 Works in the Church of St. Paul at Geneva

1924 Decorates the dome of the Petit Palais in Paris

1943 Died in Saint-Germain-en-Laye
