1 February 1849 Albert Lebourg is born in Montfort-sur-Risle, France

1876 Exhibits his works for the first time together with Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and other artists on the Boulevard Montmartre

1872 Becomes Professor of Drawing at the Societe des Beaux-Arts Algiers

1873 Marries and remains in Algiers

1877 Returns to Paris and studies with Jean Paul Laurens

1879 Exhibits 30 works in the Fourth Impressionist Exhibition with Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro and Edgar Degas

1880 Exhibits 20 works in the Fifth Impressionist Exhibition

1887 Exhibits with Les XX

1888 - 1895 Gets settled in Puteaux

1893 Becomes a member of the Société des Artistes Français

1895 Moves to the Netherlands

1900 Travels to England

1902 Travels to Switzerland

1903 A retrospective exhibition is organised presenting 111 works at the Gallerie Rosenberg. Also he is named Chevalier of the Legion of Honour

1907 Travels to Belgium

7 January 1928 Dies in Rouen
