1894 He becomes a pupil of Gustave Moreau, and a friend of Matisse, Marquet

1899 Gets married

1902 Manguin  has his first exhibition at the Salon des Independants and d'Automne

1909 He is accompanied to Naples by Marquet

1949 Manguin leaving Paris to settle in Saint-Tropez, where he dies soon after, on September 25, 1949
