1880 Starts studying at Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp

1881 and 1882 Wins the Taylor Prize

1883 Moves from Antwerp to Brittany

1886 Hi is elected to the Royal Hibernian Academy

1892 Returns to Ireland

24 April 1903 Died at the age of 44 from pneumonia
