December 10, 1867 Ker-Xavier Roussel is born in Lorry-l?s-Metz, Moselle, France
1888 He enrolles in the 3ò4cole des Beaux-Arts, and soon begins frequenting the Académie Julian where Maurice Denis and other students formed the group Les Nabis
1899 Roussel, Vuillard, and another close friend, Pierre Bonnard, travel to Lake Como, Venice and Milan
1926 Ker-Xavier Roussel wins the Carnegie Prize for art
June 6, 1944 Ker-Xavier Roussel dies at his home in L'3ò4tang-la-Ville, Yvelines, France
