1891 Exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Francais. Marries Jeanne Dauchez

1895 Meets Charles Cottet and becomes a member of his "Bande noire" or "Nubians", along with Dauchez, Xavier Prinet, Edmond Aman-Jean and René Ménard

from 1923 Becomes a teacher in 3ò4cole Nationale des Beaux-Arts

1937 Wins First Prize at "l’Exposition universelle de Paris"

1945 Dies
